I was food shopping yesterday at my local Stop and Shop and decided to buy some chicken salad from the deli counter. I took a look at the label and it had sugar added. I almost had a conniption right there in the middle of the store …
I felt like taking the tub stuffed with one pound of chicken salad and chucking it at the deli clerk! Then, the voice of reason spoke to me and said, “its not his fault, he’s just a boy”. Suffice to say I didn’t wing the tub and I didn’t purchase the chicken salad either.
My question is; just how far will companies go to get us addict to and keep us addicted to sugar?
How many people have to get ill or die from obesity and obesity related diseases before this shit stops?
What kind of sick world will our children grow up to live in?
Sneaking sugar into every kind of food imaginable is exactly what’s going on right under our noses people. Its my belief that the larger companies and Big Pharma wants a nation of sick and overweight people that absolutely MUST buy their drugs to survive. Greedy drug dealers that’s exactly what Big Pharma is!
One of the major problems is that most people are so over worked and harried that they need already prepared food, ready to go. I mean who really wants to break their ass for eight hours a day and then go home and cook a wholesome meal? I probably wouldn’t…BUT convenience foods are loaded with sugar, and sugar is an addicting drug. A substance that will eventually cause your body to break down, deteriorate and succumb to disease.
PLEASE look at labels when you food shop. There are forms of sugar in almost every packaged and bottled item on the shelves. Salad dressings have sugar! Make your own friggin’ salad dressing, it’s not hard to do!
Cut back on the sugar intake. Your body will thank you and you will thank me
Bottom line: STOP buying packaged food with sugar in it!
