Ok, so here I go….
I want to address a couple of statements that I hear too often such as ” I don’t like to cook “ or ” I can’t cook “. These two statements (among many others) really get me going. For the record people, I do NOT love to cook…. and I am NOT a professionally trained chef.
What I do LOVE is to be slim and healthy, feel great, be in a consistent, happy, glass-half-full mood, have energy throughout my day, without any lulls… I bet that most of you reach for a large cup of joe, take a power nap or eat some form of sugar at 3pm to get you over the afternoon slump? Not me!
In order for me to have all of the benefits I listed above, I must cook my and my family’s food. When you cook your own food:
- You know whats in it.
- You infuse it with Vitamin L (vitamin love).
- You nourish yourself, your family and your body.
- There’s a slim to none chance that there are any additives or preservatives in it.
- Its healthier and promotes easier weight loss.
- You save money, because going out to eat or bringing in is expensive!
I could go on and on with more benefits, but I’m sure you get me drift. Cooking is ” a means to an end ” for most. Who said you have to love it?
You choose to do it for the health b-e-n-e-f-i-t-s…
